Ke Hsuan Chen(Upa) is an artist, ceramist and tattoo artist based in Taipei, Taiwan.

Her focus on visual language weaves between abstraction and figuration, expressed in a fashion that is at times wild and at other times serene. Through the quick movements of her brush strokes, she creates a sensual space where mental landscapes and insights coexist.

She also integrates a wide range of mediums such as photography, ceramics and tattoos, seeking to find the tangible within the invisible to reproduce the memory of nature and personal experience.
